Turning Tides Counselling comprises of qualified counsellors, who have experience within the NHS and GP surgerys.
Each Counsellor is a member of the BACP and we work within their ethical framework.
We have offices based in Gravesend and Belvedere, so can cater for a wide area including North West Kent and Medway.
My name is Samantha I hold a Certificate in Counselling Skills, Diploma in Intergrative Counselling and Certificate in Intergrated CBT. Along with skills in Rewind Technique and TFT. I have experience of working within GP surgerys in Kent. I'm committed to my voluntary work with the Samaritans as well as raising my 3 children.
Prior to counselling my career for many years was within the NHS as a registered nurse before taking up a role with social services.

I am based in Gravesend easily assessible from the A2 and within reach of Northfleet, Southfleet, New Barn, Dartford, North West Kent area, Medway and all surrounding areas.
My name is Caroline Gladdish. My qualifications include a Certificate in Counselling Skills, Diploma in Integrative Counselling, Certificate in Integrated CBT and specific training in Couples Therapy.
I chose to be a counsellor because I like working with people and I love a challenge. I believe that it’s never too late to change your life and counselling can help.
I work with individuals of all ages, young and old, on a one to one basis and I also have specific training in working with couples. I can offer long term or short term therapy
As an integrative counsellor I use a variety of models including, Humanistic, CBT and Psychodynamic methods of counselling. I believe that one size doesn’t fit all so I prefer to adapt my methods to suit my client’s needs.
I am a divorced, single mum to two teenage children. Prior to counselling I worked for over 30 years in a London Local Authority dealing with some of the Boroughs most disadvantaged groups. I continue to maintain this contact today.
