About Turning Tides Counselling

Turning Tides Counselling comprises of qualified counsellors, who have experience within the NHS and GP surgerys.

Each Counsellor is a member of the BACP and we work within their ethical framework.

We have offices based in Belvedere, so can cater for a wide area including North West Kent.

My name is Caroline Gladdish. My qualifications include a Certificate in Counselling Skills, Diploma in Integrative Counselling, Certificate in Integrated CBT and specific training in Couples Therapy.

I chose to be a counsellor because I like working with people and I love a challenge. I believe that it’s never too late to change your life and counselling can help.

I work with individuals of all ages, young and old, on a one to one basis and I also have specific training in working with couples. I can offer long term or short term therapy

As an integrative counsellor I use a variety of models including, Humanistic, CBT and Psychodynamic methods of counselling. I believe that one size doesn’t fit all so I prefer to adapt my methods to suit my client’s needs.

I am a divorced, single mum to two teenage children. Prior to counselling I worked for over 30 years in a London Local Authority dealing with some of the Boroughs most disadvantaged groups. I continue to maintain this contact today.

As a member of the BACP I work within their ethical framework. I also receive regular supervision to ensure I meet best practise standards and continual personal development.

I work from home in Belvedere which is easily assessable by car or public transport from North West Kent and South East London including Woolwich, Bexleyheath, Erith and Dartford
